She grew up just outside Chicago and attended college in Winona, MN. After living and performing in New York City for a few years, she moved back to the Chicago area and continues to live, write and teach yoga just outside the City in Oak Park, IL with her husband, daughter, son and two rescue dogs. During her childhood she spent her time alternating between participating and observing in the daily family dance.
