Born and raised with the Līlīlehua rain of Waiehu on the island of Maui, she currently lives and loves with the Līlīlehua rain of Pālolo on Oʻahu. Her debut book \u003cem\u003eAsk the Brindled\u003c\/em\u003e (Milkweed Editions 2022) won the 2021 National Poetry Series. Her writing has been featured in \u003cem\u003ePoetry, \u003c\/em\u003e \u003cem\u003eLit Hub\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eANMLY\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eBeloit\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003ePoetry Northwest\u003c\/em\u003e, and the Library of Congress.
