During his long life he has published: \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e48 scientific papers, \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ewritten over 80 books, \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eand has been published in 43 different languages. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBetween 1956 and 1998, he presented more than 700 television programmes. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe has also produced over 3,400 paintings and has held 60 solo exhibitions. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn 1968 he and his wife, Ramona, moved to Malta where their son Jason was born. Returning to take up a research fellowship at Oxford in 1974, he began studying human body language and in 1977, his book \u003ci\u003eManwatching\u003c\/i\u003e was published. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe remained in Oxford until 2019, when, following the death of his wife, he moved to Ireland to live near to his family there.
