A true \"renaissance man,\" he also had a television show (The !!!! Beat) and two record companies, Athens and Hermitage, as well as Rogana Productions. Hoss produced some great records by artists like Earl Gaines, Sam Baker and Dee Brown at studios in both Nashville and Muscle Shoals. The records were licensed to a host of independent record labels around the country, and many feature legendary blues guitarist Johnny Jones.
