The project was born in Houston, Texas, during a benefit concert in 2010. Co-producer, Brett Danaher brought up the fact that he and his wife thought someone needs to make a children's album with Texas artists. So Brett and co-producer Clayton Corn, both longtime members of Pat Green's band, started asking around to find artist who would be willing to participate.
