My favorite books growing up were in the fiction genre, or fantasy stories. I loved the mysteries of the universe all around me, and even as a teenager held on to the hope that somehow, \"magic\" was real. The whimsical meter of Dr. Suess inspired a great love of poetry within me and due to that passion I became a published author at age 11 (with a Haiku poem) I published my first full length children's book (Penelope, the Grumpy Pony) in 2014, and hope to continue writing children's books for many years to come.
