At first, Christian was a little shy due to having seizures at functions where kids would be scared. As his mom, I wanted to show him it was okay to be a little different. Building his confidence to walk proudly in his truth and make new friends. It wasn't until he was playing at a birthday party and had a seizure episode that kids asked questions.
