She is a co-editor of \u003ci\u003eLatinas\/os on the East Coast: A Critical Reader\u003c\/i\u003e (Lang, 2015), and is the author of \u003ci\u003eCritical Aesthetic Pedagogy: Toward a Theory of Self and Social Empowerment\u003c\/i\u003e (2012) and of several articles and book chapters on critical pedagogy, cultural studies and aesthetic education.
