Chattopadhyay has received numerous fellowships, residencies and international awards. His works have been widely exhibited, performed or presented across the globe. Chattopadhyay is the author of The Nomadic Listener (Errant Bodies Press, 2020) and Between the Headphones (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2021); his writings on various issues around sound and media arts regularly appear in peer-reviewed journals, and publications internationally.
