He holds a B.A.in English from the University of Montana and an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Alabama. His poems have appeared in the anthologies \u003ci\u003eBest New Poets 2011\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eFeast: Poetry and Recipes for a Full Seating at Dinner\u003c\/i\u003e as well as the journals \u003ci\u003eColorado Review\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eMid-American Review\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eIndiana Review\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003ePainted Bride Quarterly\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eTypo\u003c\/i\u003e. With book artist Sonja G. Other than traditional academic settings, DeLong has taught Literature at Donaldson Correctional Facility and has worked as a Case Manager at a Reentry Services Center, teaching hard-and-soft-skill courses, such as Anger Management and Parenting, to parolees and probationers.
