Angelyn belongs to Willamette Writers of Oregon, The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies - a global transdisciplinary network of educators, writers, artists, and others whose purpose is to promote mutual respect. Angelyn has studied art at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as continuing art education at various universities and community colleges. She has attended art workshops in the Northwest and France. Her art has been juried into numerous exhibitions. She is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, the Corvallis Art Guild, and Vistas and Vineyards.
