I enjoyed every book he has written thus far and this is no exception. I was only a mediocre reader when it came to sci do, but McGinnis pulled me in. So far I have read his first series and now this one. Purchase it. You won't be disappointed with any of them. I plan on getting his others, as well. He has Gun Ship, The Hidden Ship, and Guardian Ship - as well as, the Stae Watch series.
