It explores the sound of places or setting but considers, more broadly, the experience of cinematic space in aural and visual terms. He is the author of \u003ci\u003eL'Espace cinématographique: esthétique et dramaturgie\u003c\/i\u003e (2015) and has co-edited an issue of the journal \u003ci\u003eThéorème\u003c\/i\u003e entitled \u003ci\u003eReprésentations-limites des corps sexuels dans le cinéma et l'audiovisuel contemporains\u003c\/i\u003e (2018, with Martin Goutte and Barbara Laborde). He has published many articles on cinematic space and music and sound in film and is editor of the book review section of the academic website nonfiction.fr.
