Reichert has been invited to lecture, host events, be interviewed or be a panel member at Artomatic (DC), Association of Writers \u0026amp; Writing Programs, Baltimore Magazine, Baltimore Museum of Art, CAM Raleigh, Creative Alliance, Johns Hopkins University, National Public Radio, Old Dominion University, The Walters Art Museum, University of Colorado Denver, University of Florida, University of Virginia, Western Illinois University, and others; and his work was recently featured in a course at Loyola College. His work has been featured in numerous publications including The New School Press, Stillhouse Press, Capital News Service, In This Together, and Wu-Wei Fashion Mag. His work was recently awarded 3rd Prize in the 91st Annual National Art League Prize (NY - Mary S. Cantone of William Ris Gallery, Juror), a Cimarron National Works on Paper Prize (Jodi Throckmorton, curator of contemporary art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Juror), 3rd Prize in Immersed in Abstraction (Ellington-White Contemporary, Randy Akers, Juror) and others. Reichert holds degrees from Trinity College and the University of Maryland, and has studied painting and aesthetics, as well as other artistic disciplines. He is the founder and editor of the poetry magazine Smartish Pace; hosts The HOT L Poets Series, a monthly reading series; and is a member of the band Heavy Letdown.
