She has a passion for service and has served in prisons both as an itinerant lecturer and chaplain support volunteer, in treatment centres where she works with clients to deepen their understanding of the 12 step model, as a retreat leader, and most recently, co-creator and co-host of a recovery podcast. Julie lives in Toronto, Canada, where she is currently working towards a Masters of Divinity in Theological Studies at Tyndale Seminary.
