In the early days of the crisis, medical oncologists were often the primary provider of specialty care. In his current capacity, he witnesses the health consequences of the illegal drug trade daily. David obtained an MFA in Creative Writing for Vermont College of Fine Arts. His work has appeared in NarrativeMagazine and Rise Forms. His current novel A History of Guns will be published in 2021.
