The fort was later enlarged by annexes on three sides. It was succeeded by a military stores depot. After a short abandonment, a smaller Flavian fort was occupied briefly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe internal buildings of timber-framed construction were well-preserved, including a rare double barrack block, granaries, workshops, the praetorium, stables and store buildings.
