She has lived mostly in the United States and Japan and briefly in France and China. Her books include Some Girls Walk Into The Country They Are From, \u003ci\u003eThe Ants\u003c\/i\u003e, and\u003ci\u003e Texture Notes\u003c\/i\u003e, and she is the translator of \u003ci\u003eThe Collected Poems of Chika Sagawa\u003c\/i\u003e.
