Suicide, published in 2008, was his final book.\u003cbr\u003eJan Steyn is a South African translator from French and Afrikaans to English. His other translations include Edouard Levé's \u003ci\u003eSuicide\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eAlix's Journal\u003c\/i\u003e by Alix Cleo Roubaud.
