They reformed in 1962, as The Majors, with the same line-up; lead singer Ricky Cordo, with his unique, instantly-identifiable, soaring tenor, plus Ron Gathers, Gene Glass, Frank Troutt and Idella Morris. After linking up with producer Jerry Ragovoy they charted with three genuinely great records, 'A Wonderful Dream', 'She's A Troublemaker' and 'A Little Bit Now', which are included herein in both mono 45rpm and stereo LP versions. This compilation anthologises everything that the group recorded during their magic first year of trading, including further 45s like 'Anything You Can Do', 'Tra La La' and 'One Happy Ending', as well as their LP Meet The Majors. Bonus tracks include The Versatiles' ultra-rare 1960 45rpm release, 'Lundee Dundee' b\/w 'Whisper In Your Ear'.
