He served the public in a law enforcement career until he got into politics. He ran and was elected to the Kershaw County Treasurer's Office. He has a master's degree in public administrations and also obtained a PhD in Christian Counseling. He does freelance counseling but that was put on hold, and he became a caregiver for his lovely Wife. His biggest achievement he will tell you, \"The love for my wife. I have a lot of awards but just hang them on my wall and collect dust. My wife, I placed her in my heart.\" He always wanted people to know how he loved his wife.
