Recalling Keith's fascination with photography and his growing popularity, he asked his young friend if he would be interested in helping out on \u003ci\u003e2001: A Space Odyssey\u003c\/i\u003e. Keith did not need to think about his answer, and in fact spent the next two years on the production learning his craft, earning the fond respect of Kubrick, and was soon trusted to run the photographic department, shooting large format images for animation and special effects - all done for real, in camera, long before CGI was even heard of. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Following his stellar work on \u003ci\u003e2001\u003c\/i\u003e, Keith went on to become an established stills photographer and was in great demand on such titles as \u003ci\u003eBattle of Britain\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eBarry Lyndon\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eYoung Winston\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eRosebud\u003c\/i\u003e, before embarking on the first of eight James Bond assignments, \u003ci\u003eThe Spy Who Loved Me\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Along with his Bond films - three with Roger Moore, both of Timothy Dalton's and all four of Pierce Brosnan's adventures - Keith was also asked to work on other legendary franchises: with Steven Spielberg on \u003ci\u003eIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom\u003c\/i\u003e; George Lucas on the three \u003ci\u003eStars Wars\u003c\/i\u003e prequels; \u003ci\u003eSuperman\u003c\/i\u003e II and III, along with other Hollywood blockbusters such as \u003ci\u003eClash of the Titans, Willow\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eMan on Fire\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003ePatriot Games\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eShadowlands\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eThe Mummy\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eSpy Game \u003c\/i\u003eand, shortly before retiring, \u003ci\u003eMission Impossible: Rogue Nation\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Keith has helped create some of the most iconic images from some of the biggest movies ever made. He eagerly embraced innovative technology and was one of the first unit photographers to adapt to the digital age.
