The past ten years since I wrote You Have to Go Now have brought me even more surprising challenges to conquer.

Falling for a married man whom I had believed to be single nearly broke me. In the end I knew this was yet another learning process for me that I would grow from and in turn can help others.

My financial situation coming to ruins was another big challenge I never thought I would have to face in my sixties. Accepting help from others is a hard pill to swallow when we are prideful. I stay humble in helping others but the kind of humility to accept help was a big lesson I had yet to learn in my life.

And just when you think you've survived the worse things possible the unthinkable happens. Losing my beautiful granddaughter MacKenzie to suicide was devastating! How would I ever find the words to do her justice? I had to rely on my faith in God to guide me in what I now pray may save another life.

Survival and finding light again in times of struggle is always my goal. To share my journey to help others is a privilege I take very seriously.

About the Author
Waterman, Diane M.: - I was born on September 25th 1956 in the town of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador. My parents were Eric and Viola Waterman (Peckford). My family moved a few times when I was a child. My siblings and I were raised in Gander, Goose Bay, Clarke's Head and then my parents moved back to Gander when I was finished high school. I ended up going back to Goose Bay where my oldest sister was then living with her husband. I met a man and got married by the time I was 21.In 1978 my two sisters and I, our spouses and young children moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. Eventually our youngest sister and brother moved here as well. In 1997 I divorced my ex-husband and started working in the jewelry business for the next fifteen years. In 2011 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and couldn't work on my feet all day anymore. I retired and took up writing. It is something that quickly became a passion and has kept me busy. Thank you all for your loving support over the past thirteen years with the release of all four books. It is deeply appreciated.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0831/4771/8930/files/img_8cbba017-9717-40ab-aeeb-13506d0686f3.jpg?v=1747815274
https://surprise-castle.myshopify.com/products/keep-going-aging-gratefully-and-surviving-heartbreak-and-challenges-with-resilience-appreciation-humour-and-faith-9781069406200
