At the same time, it considers the multi-generic nature of Irish Gothic, thinking beyond fiction and, in particular, the novel, as the Gothic genre par excellence. His most recent monograph is \u003ci\u003eImagining the Irish Child: Discourses of Childhood in Irish Anglican Writing of the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries\u003c\/i\u003e (2023). \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eChristina Morin is a Senior Lecturer in English and Assistant Dean of Research in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Limerick. She is the author of \u003ci\u003eThe Gothic Novel in Ireland, c. 1760-1829\u003c\/i\u003e (2018) and \u003ci\u003eCharles Robert Maturin and the Haunting of Irish Romantic Fiction\u003c\/i\u003e (2011).
