She is well known online as NVTami. Her specialties are the little-known ghost towns and long-forgotten stories of life in the Old West. Tami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology, as well as a Master of Social Work. She is a licensed therapist and taught courses about people, families, and communities at Western Nevada College. She presents to various historical societies and works with non-profit groups to preserve Nevada's historical resources.
