Diagnostic reasoning is presented along the lines of the \u003cem\u003eInternational Classification of Headache Disorder\u003c\/em\u003es, third edition (ICHD-III). Additionally, recommendations for adding or modifying new treatment modalities (pharmacologic and devices) that have been approved since publication of the first edition have been incorporated based on updates from the AHS consensus statement.
