My husband of 41 years was a Seabee in the US Navy. After 26 years of service, he retired and we purchased our first home where we raised our two sons. My husband passed away in 2017. I continue to reside in Northern California with my oldest son and 4 dogs. I enjoy reading, writing and love spending time at the ocean where I find peace. I am a co-founder of a support group called Our Healing Hearts. We are a group of bereaved moms that reach out to moms whose children have passed away. It is a non-profit organization and has a 501c.
