Cox \u003c\/b\u003eis professor of history and department head at North Dakota State University. His translations include five volumes of works by Danilo Kis; short fiction by Ismail Kadare, Ivo Andric, and Mesa Selimovic; and nonfiction by Joseph Roth and Stefan Heym.
