She was awarded the Best Actress Award for her performance of Aoibhe in \u003ci\u003eThe Trouble with Aoibhe\u003c\/i\u003e at the BlackBird Film Festival in NYC. \u003ci\u003eMary and Me\u003c\/i\u003e was Irene's debut play, in which she also performed.
